Bio
Jim Walke is a Senior Project Manager at BII who has worked with this team of researchers since 2005. He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2011. Jim’s role at the Institute involves assisting with proposal preparation for larger, multi-institution efforts, as well as providing project management and business support after awards are received. His background is in theatre and English, and he received his MFA in creative writing at Queens University of Charlotte in 2010. He is currently the Project Manager for two projects funded by the Army Research Institute (ARI) and one funded by the USDA, all three within the SDAD Division of BII. Previous efforts have included managing projects with the NIH, the Gates Foundation, DARPA, and IARPA.
