Speaker: Dr. Tamara Kolda

Bio: Dr. Tamara Kolda is an independent consultant in mathematical data science, specializing in tensor decomposition, randomized algorithms, high-performance computing, algorithmic design for efficiency, scientific software development, and general data science understanding and application. She is available for contract work on advisory/assessment/evaluation boards, and has limited availability for technical consulting, visiting positions, etc. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
