Bio

Farzana Ahmad is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Biocomplexity Institute. Her background focused on High-Performance Computing and Distributed Systems, and she received her BSc. Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2019. Her interests are Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and High-Performance Computing. She is currently involved in optimizing task scheduling for different matrix multiplication techniques in heterogeneous environments using reinforcement learning.
