Lona Doyle serves a dual role as part of the Executive Office at the Biocomplexity Institute. Lona is a project associate with responsibility for ensuring communications, milestones and agendas are aligned with the priorities and goals of senior leadership. She is the liaison and representative for the Executive Office on various project teams that support the start-up phase and strategic direction of the Institute. As a purposeful and enterprising ambassador for the Biocomplexity Institute, Lona contributes to the strategic planning, development, and overall culture to help shape the Institute’s future growth.
Lona also is the Executive Assistant to the Institute’s Executive Director, Christopher L. Barrett and manages myriad activities to ensure the Office of the Executive Director is running smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
Prior to joining the Institute, Lona worked on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs as a project manager. She served on the Global Best Practices Committee for brand and presentation development overseeing the transformation of Goldman’s logo and adherence to brand guidelines. Lona also held the position of senior regional marketing manager at Bernstein Global Wealth Management in New York supporting the managing director of Global Marketing. In this senior role, she also developed, managed and trained staff on a web-based workflow tool utilized firm-wide for all marketing materials as well as supported nine regional marketing managers globally with execution of marketing materials from conception to print.
Lona earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deanne School of Law at Hofstra University and holds an M.S. from Albany Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law.
