Bio: Arnaud Bataille is a virologist at CIRAD, specializing in the peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV). His work focuses on developing diagnostic tests and vaccines, and he is part of the global effort to eradicate PPR by 2030, collaborating with FAO and WOAH. Bataille's research also investigates the role of wildlife in the spread of PPRV, examining how wildlife might act as reservoirs or sentinels for the virus.
