Dr. Alyssa Mikytuck is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Social and Decision Analytics division at the University of Virginia’s Biocomplexity Institute and Initiative. Broadly, Alyssa works with stakeholders using diverse datasets to inform policy and practice recommendations. Trained as a developmental psychologist, Alyssa is passionate about promoting developmentally appropriate juvenile justice interventions. She received her PhD from Georgetown University. Her dissertation was a multi-method research project on support in adolescent offenders’ friendships. Alyssa also received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her M.P.P. from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
